We have a wealth of Archery experience in the club which ensures all members interests are in good hands.

The Committee are elected each year to look after the day-to-day and also long term interests of the club on behalf of the members.

  • Sets club fees and membership subscriptions

  • Responsible for overseeing all financial transactions
  • Prepares & submits Annual Accounts for previous year and projected budgets for the forthcoming year for AGM
Membership Secretary
Vicky Doyle
  • Liaises with Archery GB, Wales and Glamorgan
  • Maintains membership list
  • Prepares & submits a membership report to the Club membership at the AGM
  • Will collate the membership pack
  • Ensures each new member received an induction
  • Liaises with the beginner’s course organiser
Tournament Officer

  • Co-ordinates the ‘Open’ tournaments for the club and handles all entries
  • Liaises with club committee, records officer and equipment officer

Junior Rep

  • Acts as a link between the junior membership and the Club
  • Attends at least 50% of committee meetings

Records Officer
Graham Rees-Evans
  • Maintains shooting and handicap records for all members
  • Liaises with Archery GB, Wales and Glamorgan for records
  • Co-ordinates internal club competitions
  • Prepares & submits a report to the Club membership at the AGM
Equipment Officer
David Norman
  • Ensures all club equipment is safe and usable
  • Requests finances from committee for purchases
  • Organises working parties when necessary
Welfare Officers
Kevin Doyle & Jonathan Allan
  • Liaises with Archery GB and other regulatory bodies on Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection issues
  • Informs Committee and Coaches on all Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection issues
  • Co-ordinates all CRB checks and Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection courses

  • Looks after the health and safety at venues.
  • Reviews the risk assessment
  • At regular intervals and liaises with equipment officer to ensure all club equipment is fit for purpose
