Portsmouth Progress Awards (Indoors)
Portsmouth awards for all members.

252 Awards (Outdoors)
The 252 Award Scheme is designed to help you progress your shooting at different distances and recognise your achievements.
Distance – 30-100y
Target Face – 122cm
Num of Arrows – 36
Scoring – 9, 7, 5, 3, 1
Sighters – 1 end of 6
When 2 scores* have been achieved (in different sessions), a badge can be awarded.
*Scores for different bow types can be seen below.
Novices should complete the distances in order.
Scores:
- 252 Recurve
- 280 Compound
- 164 Longbow
- (126 at 80yds, 101 at 100yds)
- 189 Barebow
- (164 at 80yds, 139 at 100yds)
- 164 VI
Badges:
- 20 yards – N/A – see progress awards
- 30 yards – black badge
- 40 yards – blue badge
- 50 yards – red badge
- 60 yards – gold badge
- 80 yards – green badge
- 100 yards – burgundy badge
Fun Badges
- “Six Gold End” badge / “Three Gold End” badge (Longbows)
- Shoot all six/three arrows in the gold
- “On target” badge
- shoot the whole evening without missing the target
- “White to Gold” badge
- Hit one white, one black, one blue, one red and one gold in the same end

- shoot all session without hitting a white
